The heart of Irpen is the Central Square

The modern central square of Irpen is a special pride of the city. It was completely reconstructed in the summer of 2016 together with Shevchenko Street. Then, architectural compositions with columns and elegant Venetian lanterns appeared here, amazing author’s sculptures of dreamy musicians and generous seasons. The highlight is colored fountains.

On August 24, 2017, a unique monument to Taras Shevchenko was opened on the square.

Traditionally, the community celebrates the most important and brightest events in the life of the city precisely on the central square. Festivals, concerts, and fairs are held here.
