Park of Writers

Writers’ Park is, without a doubt, the epicenter of creativity and inspiration in Irpen.

The park is located on the territory of the legendary House of Writers’ Creativity of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine. The House of Writers’ Creativity is the birthplace of numerous literary and artistic masterpieces.

A variety of sculptures, monuments, a decorative lake with a fountain, and gazebos are installed around the perimeter of the park. Everything is for relaxation and inspiration. In one of the parts of the park, a stage has been built for holding literary evenings and art festivals.

Historical note: Created in 1935 on the basis of the dacha of the Kyiv manufacturer Chokolov. Oleksandr Dovzhenko, Ostap Vyshnia, Pavlo Tychyna, Mykola Bazhan, Mykhailo Stelmakh, Maksym Rylskyi, Oles Gonchar, Pavlo Zagrebelny and many other poets and novelists lived and worked in the House of Creativity.
